Dr. Slobodan N. Acimovic, full professor, was born in 1968 in Belgrade, where he finished primary and secondary school. He received his university education at the Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade: undergraduate studies (1993), master’s thesis (1997), doctoral dissertation (2001). During his undergraduate studies, in the period from 1991 to 1993, he performed the function of a student vice-dean at the home faculty. He began his professional career as a demonstrator (1994), continuing with the election of assistant trainee (1995), assistant (1997), assistant professor (2002), associate professor (2007) and full professor (2011) at the Department of Business Economics and Management. Faculty of the University of Belgrade. He is engaged in the following subjects of undergraduate, master’s and doctoral studies: Marketing Logistics, Traffic Economics (undergraduate studies); Supply Chain Management, International Logistics, Transport Policy and Development, Complementary Sectors and Tourism, Distribution Management (master studies); Supply and logistics management (doctoral studies). He is the author of a number of independent / co-authored university books, scientific papers and articles in relevant domestic and foreign journals and / or conferences. He is especially active in the implementation of strategic and operational consulting activities in domestic and / or regional companies. As a manager or team member, he is active in a wide range of projects in the field of business economics and management. He is a member of global and national scientific and business associations: 1) CSCMP – Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals, 2) GBATA – Global Business & Technology Association, 3) SeMA – Serbian Marketing Association, 4) NDES – Scientific Society of Economists of Serbia.
